My field of expertise is IT law and the related fields of law (data protection law, copyright, intellectual property). Already as a child I was fascinated by computers and their technical processes. That's how I started my first programming work (mainly html and CSS) in my childhood. However, I was only able to make friends with other programming languages in my studies of business administration (TUM-BWL). Here I started to work on bigger projects. I also discovered my passion for StartUps during this time. Accordingly, it was clear to me that a separate company (now it has become several) must be founded.
Because of my interests, it was clear to me at the end of my law studies that I would start my own law firm. That's how my colleague Michael Gabler and I founded the law firm Gabler & Hendel. Since then, I have been advising clients primarily in IT law. In particular, my clients appreciate that we can talk technically at eye level, and that they do not have to provide too much explanations about source texts, etc.
